Need extra output power from your location? We rent and sell 25 – 50 watt mobile base stations that will give you the coverage you require from one end to another. Base stations/mobiles are compact units to be used in a vehicle or placed on something stationary ( e.g. desk) to provide 10x more power than a regular radio. They can be programmed to be used with other handheld units.
Base stations/mobiles cannot be carried around like a portable radio as there is no internal battery in the unit. They must be plugged into a power source. Use the car mobile (plugged into the cigarette lighter) to keep in contact with others in a convoy or while traveling on logging roads. A base station placed on something stationary can be plugged into the wall. Place the base station antenna at the highest point to allow the longest range of communication to your handheld devices.
